Standard Folder TypesAs with a typical e-mail application, Liaison Athena's left-hand folder tree is made up of five standard folder types. These folder types are common across all of Athena's folder view modes. InboxAll documents sent to your Liaison Athena mailbox initially display in the Inbox folder. SentAll documents sent from your Athena mailbox are saved to the Sent folder. You will never find functional acknowledgments (997 or CONTRL messages) in this folder because they are automatically generated and sent on your behalf by the Liaison Value Added Network. However, even though acknowledgments are not directly visible in Athena, there are many ways for you to track and reconcile them, as discussed in Functional Acknowledgments. DraftsThe Drafts folder contains copies of the EDI transactions you have created or begun creating, including those you have already sent. TrashThe Trash folder contains documents that you have deleted. Deleted documents are stored here until you either delete them singly or perform the Empty Trash command. Flagged documents cannot be removed from the Trash folder until their flags have been removed. For more information on flagged documents, see Flagging Documents. For more information on deleting documents, see Deleting and Archiving Documents. ArchiveThe Archive folder contains documents that you have archived. It's always organized into three subfolders: Inbox, Drafts, and Sent. These subfolders correspond to the various types of statuses documents can have at the time they are archived. For more information on Athena's archiving features, see Auto-Archiving Documents.
