Requesting Test TransactionsBefore you can begin using Liaison Athena to manage your company’s EDI requirements, you have to coordinate with your trading partners. We recommend that you contact each of your trading partners and provide them with the following identification information so that they may send you test transactions:
When you receive your test transactions, please contact us to schedule a FREE Athena orientation session over the phone (walk-thru). Note: ZZ is an EDI qualifier used to signify that the data element that follows is a mutually defined code. However, the ZZ qualifier may not be supported by all your trading partners. If this is the case for any of your trading partners, provide those partners with "01" as an alternative for ZZ along with your organization's DUNS number as the alternative to your mailbox ID. If you use a DUNS number as your receiver or sender ID for any of your trading partners, you must also provide Liaison with your DUNS number if you have not already done so. Otherwise, Liaison will be unable to route your documents to the correct mailbox when they arrive on the Liaison VAN. |
