Auto-Deleting Draft Documents

From the Folders preferences page, you can specify a range of days for which to automatically delete draft documents (EDI documents and e-mail messages alike) from the Drafts folder(s). Because the Drafts folders contain copies of every EDI document created, including those that have been sent, it's important to note that the auto-delete function applies only to draft documents that have never been sent. Athena's auto-deleting default is all documents older than 90 days.

Note: Please note that the number of days is not from when the Draft was created, but from when it was last updated.

  • As noted on this preferences page, flagged documents cannot be auto-deleted until their flags have been removed. For more information on flagged documents, see Flagging Documents.

Note: Auto-deletion of draft documents is disabled until you manually enable it. In order to enable Athena's auto-delete feature for draft documents, you must review the setting from the Folders preference page and click the Save button. Until you save the setting, any auto-delete preference shown here will not be active.
